The Government of India introduced the Credit Guarantee Fund
Scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGS) to offer collateral-free credit to

eligible for coverage under this scheme.
Substantial 50% subsidy on patent registration:
Enterprises holding MSME Registration Certificates can avail
of a 50% subsidy for patent registration by applying to the respective
ministry.
1% interest rate exemption on overdraft:
Enterprises with MSME Registration can benefit from a 1%
interest rate exemption on overdrafts, subject to the terms and conditions
specified in the scheme (dependent on the bank).
Eligibility for Industrial Promotion Subsidy:

Industrial Promotion Subsidies as prescribed by the government.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with MSME Registration
receive protection from delayed payments by Buyers. In cases of delayed
payments, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ensures the right
to interest on delayed payments through conciliation, arbitration, and timely
dispute settlement.
Concession in electricity bills:
Enterprises holding MSME Registration Certificates can apply
for concessions on their electricity bills by submitting an application to the
electricity department along with the MSME Registration Certificate.
